As we all know there are a lot of problems with the names of chinese actors.

The guy in this picture>
http://www.hkcinemagic.com/en/gallery.asp?pid=2831&fid=&type=0&id=17867#pic

has a quite different nose from this one>
http://www.hkcinemagic.com/en/gallery.asp?pid=2831&fid=&type=0&id=18207#pic

and his eyes are not those of this guy>
http://www.hkcinemagic.com/en/gallery.asp?pid=592&fid=&type=0&id=21021#pic

and he doesn't look like this guy>
http://www.hkcinemagic.com/en/gallery.asp?pid=2084&id=22315#pic

Who is he?
An other Chan/Chang/Chen-Sing/Shen/Shan?

No mistake here, I'm sure of that.
The first two guys are the same, it's Chan Shen.
The third is Chen Sing.
And the last is Chen Shan, taiwanese martial actor.

And yes, in http://www.hkcinemagic.com/fr/movie.asp?id=3078, it's not Chan Shen who was credited in the cast, but Chen Shan the taiwanese. icon13.gif

How do you explain the differences in noses between the first two pictures? They are quite different!

Obviously.. No. smile.gif
It's shot with different angle and lightning but it's the same. Chan Shen looks like http://www.hkcinemagic.com/en/people.asp?id=491 in several Shaw movies but no doubt here.

I'm not convinced, but if these characters, 詹森, are shown on the movie credits of King Boxer, it must be him!

Found a Chan Chuen credited on King Boxer 1972 (there's one from 1971 too) on the http://www.hkmdb.com/db/people/view.mhtml?id=4389&display_set=eng

I think I was right. This portret of http://www.hkcinemagic.com/en/gallery.asp?pid=2831&fid=&type=0&id=17867#pic on HKCM must be the Chan Chuen = 陳全 on the HKMDB, but I think he doesn't look like the http://www.hkcinemagic.com/en/people.asp?id=1255 on HKCM.

BTW: if you have a look at the http://www.hkmdb.com/db/movies/images.mhtml?id=5309&display_set=eng on the HKMDB, you'll see that on one pic this guy is called Chan Shen and on an other Chan Chuen.

sorry, but in your hkmdb link, chan chuen is the right guy on the photo, and not the center guy, who is Chan Shen...

Oops, Sorry, you're right! I give up!

No problem, but i added Chan Chuen to the right of Chan Shen, and added other "henchmen" behind Chan Shen. Tell us if you see errors.

Sorry, it's getting more and more confusing.

About which picture are you talking?

(I wish I would never had started this topic!)

I think you are right (Altough Wong Mei and Hsu Hsia are hard to see).
