| Does anyone know the English title of this SB movie (French tilte: "Karateka aux bras d'acier" /starring Ti Lung, Wang CHung, Lily Li - directed by Chang Cheh)?????? I am completely lost as I heave never ever heard of it... Plot (description on French advertisement): Japanese troops hide a lot of gold to undermine the Chinese defense forces. A CHinese officer finds out about it and is sent to find the loot. He befriends a casino owner and his sister and together they take on the Japanese... Any help will be appreciated Merci! |

I own a movie on VHS with this french title, but ist is no SB-movie. Leading star ist Jimmy Wang Yu. The film wasn't released in germany where I'm from, but I could identify it as "The fastest fists", made in 1972 by director Ding Sin Saai. The film ist not listed in the Data Base! There is only "The fast fists", an alternate title for CHOW KEN, which was made in 1972 by Ding Sin Saai, too. But this are 2 different movies.... |

Yes, it's sure.... The plot of CHOW KEN ist about the boxer-rebellion in 1900, FASTEST FISTS is more like LION'S HEART. You can find both movies at ImdB.com and hkmdb.com, for example. The Original-title ist interesting: "Wang Yu da dao". But I have made one mistake: The french title from my version ist "Karateka aux poings D'acier" !!! Sorry, but I hadn't seen it for 17 years! There ist a german filmography with another alternate-title of "Fastest fists": Wang Yu defie les Hommes de Bronze. But the filmography says also, "Wang Yu rougir le fleuve Jaune" is Fastest Fists..... I think, the titles of 2 films are "mixed" to one .... |
