Shing Fui On / Shing Fui On 成奎安 died on Aug 27th, aged 54.
Shing started his acting career thanks to Danny Lee and went to become the most notorious villain in the 1980s and 1990s.
After Ringo Lam's Prison on Fire in 1987 he was known by the public and professionnals as "Big Crazy /Dai So /大傻".
Shing had about 350 films under his belt as well as 600 episods of TV series.
One of his latest performances was in Cheung Chee Keung's Bodyguard: A New Beginning.
In 2004, Shing was diagnosed with cancer. He was given 4 months but bet the odds and a medical victory kept him alive for several years. He ended up weakened and with little money. Despite a poor health he carried on working to provide for his loved ones.
A few weeks ago, a relapse took him back to hospital. All his friends visited him and some stayed until the last moments, when Shing only weighted 45 kg (for a height of 1.85m).
