I think the 'moviepages' on HKCM can be improved by

1. replacing the 'standard portrets' on the gallery by portrets taken from the movie. (Most people won't take the trouble to look on the 'actor pages' to see if there's a protret taken from that movie. I beleive HKCM is already working on it.)

2. adding portrets of the unidentified persons to the gallery.

3. adding a discussionboard to every movie, where we can discus the credits, the DVD releases, our opinions about the movie and give suggetions on the unindentified persons.

4. would like to see more moviestills too.

How do you think about that?

I'll reply below directly.

1. We are working on it indeed. Although any idea seems very easy to have, to technically archieve them and extend them to a database of thousands entries is another matter. Portraits from actors in some movies, i believe the essentials ones, will be added in the future.

2. Our system allow us to add a person to the cast or crew only if his profile exists. Unknown people cannot be added.
Personnaly i don't see the point to add non informative stuff. It will make people even more confused on a already very large page.

3. A link to the forum will be added. It's up to you to create a topic for a profile or a movie page.
The link will be added later.

4. It would be nice too.
For band width and other technical difficulties + to avoid to make gigantic film pages, we decided to only show 10 stills per movies.
Some have a bit more I believe, some unimportant flicks have less.

Most of the pages design have been well thought trought. I know some stuff can appear fustrating but many elements are to be considered, such as technique, editorial policy, band width, clarity etc... All elements that visitors might not be aware of.
