I could play about 50% of the VCD's without out any problems, but the others had to be copied before I could play them. One of them couldn't be copied, but, to my surprise, it could be played in a stand-alone DVD player. Everybody (?) seems to have problems with the DVD of 'Sorrowful to a ghost' and today I recieved the DVD 'They came to rob Hong Kong' which couldn't be played or copied at all. Wrong filesystem. CDFS instead of UDF. Are there more people who got problems with Mei-Ah DVD's and VCD's? -------------------- Pieter, Amersfoort, The Netherlands.

HK film expert Groupe : Modérateurs Messages : 6893 Membre n° : 4 Inscrit le : 27/04/2004 Dragon	I don't buy a lot of Mei Ah dvd anymore (I already own the old titles - and no problem to play the dvd). I recently bought Dragon Squad and it doesn't play very well on my dvd (the sound is desynchronized and there is pixelisation from time to time) but it plays right on my PC dvd... On several forums about DVD you can read that the cheaper DVD-players have less problems with 'bad' disks, then the better ones..........
On my PC I have a Plextor (€120,-) and a Lite-on (€25,-).
Some DVD's that can't be played or copied on the Plextor, could be copied on the Lite-on! The other way round? Never!

A strange thing!

Other dvd player machines might be more sensitive to the disc surface, errors, etc... -------------------- Admin.
