I started a topic on differences between releases of a film (org. topic), but I think it's better if you can find it under the tile of the film. That's why you find this one here.

Don't know if the two releases I saw were realy US and HK, because my son owns them. The first runs less then 90 min, the second about 115 min.
After we saw the first one, we didn't know what the story was all about. It had something to do with a kind of hard drug (opium?). It was all a bit confusing.
In the second, the story is about antrax and that, with the additional material, explained all.
Some introducing appearences are missing in the short version and later in the film that makes you wonder where that person comes from and what he's doing there. Naturally there's a lot more missing but I can't recall them all.

There's one thing missing, that Jackie and all his fans won't like:
There's a scene with Jackie on the arm of a huge crane, while the arm moves around and goes through a building.
In the short version you won't see the arm, with Jackie on it, when it's IN the building.
A nice stunt completly ruined.
