The story is simple, but effective. It's a bit unusaul to have the master-swordsman as the bad-guy, but it works out fine. There are a lot of swordfights, but some parts of them look a bit clumsy. We can say the same of the acting of some of the actors. The locations where the film is shot, are great and so is the camerawork on them. It reminded me sometimes of 'A touch of Zen'. Although I don't like the supernatural power scenes and the film has it's weak moments, I still think it's a nice swordplay-film.

One other thing: IT SEEMS TO BE NORMAL THAT THIS DISK COMES WITH AN ERROR. I was able to copy the disk and you won't have any troubles then.

About the title.

The titel in characters is: 鬼見愁
In Mandarin pinyin: Qui Jian Chou
In Cantonese: Gwai Gin Sau
Translated word by word it's something like: ghost / to meet, to appear / worry about.
I think they are right: There is something to worry about when a ghost appears.

It's the nickname of Shao Mu Tien (Yee Yuen) in this film. In the subtitles they call him 'the dare devil'. So how they came to 'Sorrowful to a ghost', I don't know.
